Annually at the Pat Walsh (ex All Black & Māori All Black) Memorial Bowls Tournament hosted at the Bridge Park Bowling Club, Mangere Bridge a scholarship will be presented to an outstanding junior male and female person of Māori descent excelling in sports and selected from local colleges, that the late Pat Walsh was associated with.
